Universal Exercise Unit
This
is a therapy tool that enables a child to perform resisted weight training, low load prolonged stretching and also supports
the child in various movement patterns. This promotes strengthening through functional, everyday tasks.
TheraSuit
The Therasuit™ originated from the Russian space suit. It is a suit that supports and stabilizes by
using major muscle groups in the body to normalize movement patterns. It also helps to strengthen muscles while maintaining
proper body alignment.
Intensive Therapy
Our Intensive Therapy program is two to three hours
of therapy per day, 5 days per week for 3 weeks. Times can be modified for the needs
of the child and family.
Intensive
therapy begins with an individualized evaluation and treatment plan.
Treatments can include: Heat and massage Prolonged
low load stretching for tight muscles Resisted
weight training to increase weak muscle groups Functional
actives such as sitting, crawling, walking, and transitions Equipment consultation
Weekly Therapy test
We also offer 60 to 90 minute sessions two to three times per week using the Universal Exercise
Unit and other equipment in our clinic.
